More pics from visit with Kate, Axel and Saga. A beautiful closeup of everyone (of course Scott can never make a normal face for a picture...)And the best part of being the photographer, there doesn't need to be a closeup of myself!

August 2008

Well, I'm just trying to figure out how this works so bear with me! Kate, Axel and Saga came over for a vist this August 3rd. It was so nice to see them all and we had a nice time just hanging out in the yard. The weather was just right and the kids had fun playing on the slip and slide and dipping in the pool. On Monday we took a little drive up to the Tunk mountian lookout and took in the views, pic nicked and went for a little walk. Our visit went by so fast but it was so good to see everyone looking so happy and healthy. We look forward to the next time and to see how much Saga will have grown! We'll add some more pictures soon. At this point I have not figured out how to rotate pictures so please forgive any that are sideways!

More California...

Halla Text Freak!!
Sage Boob Tube!!
And then there were those peaceful moments...
Oak Run lowlands
And here in Redding we created a typical "Anderson" memory. Everyone is laughing at me because the car at right almost "ran me over" while I was trying to get a pic of the girls with a palm tree!

2008 California trip.

Okay, so we went on a trip to Oregon/ California in June and it was a blast. To (LaPine) Bend, OR to visit Great Grandpa and Grandma and then on to magical Oak Run, the place of my childhood. We ended up in Redding, my birth town but only because BaPa passed the camp ground and there was no where else to stay. Although everyone was pretty grumpy after about nine hours, we made the best of it. It was so nice to see Oak Run again. I sure love that place and would move there in a heart beat if only it wasn't in CA. This was the girls first trip to CA so we made sure and got a picture in front of the CA sign! The next day was another long drive on service roads to Glass Mountain, an obsedian mountian! and then a break a Medicine Lake which is a small version of Crater Lake.
